We are currently recruiting for an applications engineer for Cadspec which is part of the Stanford Marsh Group. Cadspec are a market leader in CAD solutions and have been selling CAD software since 1989, we offer a complete end to end service including training on CAD software and consultancy and support. Cadspec are experiencing some exciting times with new and upcoming technologies in which were now expanding our team of experts to meet current demand!
Were looking for an individual whos just as passionate as we are about CAD software and is excited to get on board with the latest technological developments in the CAD industry!
The role will be responsible for:
- resolving customer issues reported to us via phone, email, chat, the web, online forums, and other social media channels.
-Providing training for our customers in Autodesk Manufacturing Software Solutions
-Providing pre-sales support to our sales team

- Tech Savvy with knowledge in Autodesk software being most desirable (or similar software)
Cadspec are an Autodesk gold partner and have resold Autodesk software for over 25 years. You must have knowledge in this software in order to advise and train our customers. We desire someone who likes to delve into the latest technology and whos confident to independently navigate their way around a range of software and programmes.
- An effective problem solver with the ability to think on their feet and make timely decisions on issues requiring immediate attention
Can you work effectively under pressure? We need someone who can effectively take control of a situation and actively seek a solution, someone whos not afraid to make mistakes or put forward their ideas.
- A self-led individual who is able to take responsibility for their own performance and actions
Were looking for a candidate whos able to use their initiative and actively seek out tasks without needing to be prompted. An individual whos resourceful, who will ask questions and actively seek for an answer whilst using their time wisely is highly desirable.
